As Twitchy reported earlier, Walmart is doing fantastic business today despite thuggish walkout threats and protests organized by Big Labor.

OUR Walmart, the union-backed group behind the walkout, didn’t have a whole lot of success recruiting employees to participate. According to Walmart’s corporate news feed, OUR Walmart wasn’t even able to get 50 employees to walk out today.

We did not experience the walk-offs promised by the UFCW. We estimate that less than 50 assocs participated nationwide: walmarturl.com/UiAEv7

Walmart president Bill Simon said that “roughly the same number of associates missed their scheduled shift as last year.” Most of the protesters were brought in by Big Labor.

As @varneyco reports, “these are mostly union workers, not Walmart workers.” We are, as always, proud of our dedicated associates today.

We had our best #BlackFriday ever & OUR Walmart was unable to recruit more than a small number of assocs to participate in these events.

Press reports are now exposing what we have said all along – the large majority of protesters aren’t even Walmart workers.

We’re aware of the few dozen protests at our stores but the associates that missed their scheduled shifts today is 60% less than last year.
