LA Times writer criticizes Fox News for not defending Obama post-Benghazigate!/LATimesrainey/status/255793141729357824

The truth hurts. And it’s inconvenient for liberal “real reporters” like the L.A. Times’ James Rainey, who is reserving his criticism over Benghazigate not for President Obama, Hillary Clinton, or Susan Rice, but for Fox News. You see, while the shovel-wielding networks are busy trying to bury the coverup, Fox News and Bret Baier have been diligently chronicling the Obama Administration’s shameful conduct. Since the attacks a month ago, Team Obama has engaged in shameful mendacity and pussyfooting, blaming the deaths of four Americans on a video, blatantly lying to the American people about the nature of the attacks, and playing a dangerous game of political hot potato. Yet, to Rainey, it’s Fox who’s committed the egregious offense for not finding something nice to say about Obama?

Sorry, James. Fox’s priorities are exactly where they should be. Take off your lapdog collar and do your job.

Twitterers are taking Rainey to task over his grossly misplaced priorities:

@latimesrainey Are you talking about the same Obama that lied to us and didn’t invite fox to the news conference call? get off your knees

@latimesrainey @foxnews @bretbaier James Rainey – need to do your homework. There is no defense for Obama lies & coverup! #FairNBalanced

@latimesrainey What exactly is there to defend? How about you “journalists” do your job & find why administration keeps lying about Libya?

— T.Le (@HBWolverine70) October 11, 2012

@latimesrainey Chris Stevens & the others blood is on obama’s hands

— Lisa Talley (@jhawk1986) October 11, 2012

@latimesrainey What R they suppose to defend? The lack of security& the multiple request for more. The Deaths of 4 Americans& the lies spun?

— Rhonda Martin (@rhomarti) October 11, 2012

@latimesrainey How do you defend an administration that failed on so many levels? People DIED but Obama partied then lied multiple times.

— Rhonda Martin (@rhomarti) October 11, 2012

@latimesrainey This is so egregious u can’t even find left leaning media defending him on Libya. And defend what, #lies? #fairnbalanced

— Wise Latina (@SuperAndrea) October 11, 2012

@latimesrainey Defend Obama? What about truth – no matter what your politics? Obama/admin screwed up, people died, they lied. No defense!

— R McCombs – TX Mom (@rpmccombs) October 11, 2012

Exactly. There is no defending the indefensible.
