The New York Yankees have set aside their rivalry with the Boston Red Sox in a classy move today, as the team tweeted its message of support and displayed the message, “United We Stand” at Yankee Stadium. The display of unity is a home run with fans.

The Yankees will also hold a moment of silence and play “Sweet Caroline” after the third inning tonight.
Our thoughts are with the Boston community. Tonight there will be a special moment of silence & Fenway favorite Sweet Caroline @ end of 3rd.

@yankees I am a HUGE @redsox fan and cannot put into words how thoughtful it is to play Sweet Caroline tonight. It actually made me tear up

As much as I hate the Yankees 364 days out of the year, playing Sweet Caroline at the Yanks game today is just awesome. Classy move, Yanks
