Okay, this clown business is seriously getting out of hand.

It seems that wherever you go in the U.S. these days, groups of freaky clowns are sure to follow — I’m honestly surprised that I haven’t run into one by now. Many of them seem to only be people messing around, but that doesn’t mean it’s any safer for those getting pranked or even the ones doing the pranking.

The following video shows exactly why it’s really not a good idea to dress up as a clown and scare people anymore. As a group of friends were driving around at night, they came across a terrifying Pennywise lookalike in the middle of nowhere. But as creepy as that sight is, the chaotic experience didn’t end there.

Prepare yourselves for some pretty strong language.

In all fairness, that clown was attacked first. But at the same time, you can’t expect people not to react when you’re trying to scare the crap out of them.
