Facebook advises employees not to release passwords

In an update to a story we covered Wednesday, Facebook has now released a statement concerning employers asking for their employees’ Facebook passwords. The social networking giant is advising individuals not to hand over their password information to potential employers because of its security risk for the user and the user’s friends.
