Fox swaps Sarah Palin for Dennis Kucinich; What’s next for Mama Grizzly?
The news that Sarah Palin and Fox News have parted ways isn’t surprising; the former governor of Alaska hasn’t been seen on the channel as a contributor since December. A statement from Fox calls the separation amicable, with an executive vice president at the channel saying, “We have thoroughly enjoyed our association with Governor Palin. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.”
Some couldn’t help but notice that the announcement of Palin’s departure came just a week after Fox named former Rep. Dennis Kucinich as the channel’s newest contributor. Fox News chief executive Roger Ailes described Kucinich as fearless and a “valuable voice in our country’s debate.”
Anti-bullying activist Dan Savage, who doesn’t hate anyone (except for the “GOP house faggots” in GOProud, the Christian “pansy asses” who walked out of his speech to high school students, and a few others) was quick to pile on.
So, speaking of future endeavors, what’s next for Palin? A Senate run, perhaps?
Palin is still active on Facebook, and she’s proved she doesn’t need Fox News to remain on people’s minds, no matter how much the Left questions her relevance.
