Americans aren’t believing much of anything from the incompetent, contradiction-filled “top men” at the CDC. For good reason, as Twitchy readers know.
Now, two more recent examples that are enraging.
Additional steps like @CDCgov #Ebola response teams & more educational efforts are underway b/c homeland preparedness remains top priority.

OK, but what about this?
CDC's brilliant new plan to handle Ebola? They'll send a team to explain what they think you did wrong AFTER you get a positive diagnosis
— DANEgerus (@DANEgerus) October 16, 2014
@SecBurwell @CDCgov You're supposed to do all that BEFORE the outbreak! Dr. Friedman must be replaced today he's not up to the task @ #CDC!
— David J. Carlson (@davidcarlsonusa) October 16, 2014
But surely they can at least get how it can be spread correct, right? Nope!
RT @CDCemergency: Ebola not spread through the air like flu or measles. Spread through close contact with bodily fluids #CDCchat
— rebel (@theReal_Rebel) October 2, 2014
"Close proximity" now? Interesting. It was only spread by direct contact with bodily fluids just a few hours ago. #CDClies
— John O'Neill (@RedHandNYCity) October 16, 2014
So now it's "close proximity"? That's a tiny bit different than contact with bodily fluids. #Ebola
— Ginger ♓ (@Redpisces3) October 16, 2014
Which one? Does close contact mean direct contact? No one is quite sure. But, it’s back to “direct” as of late Thursday:
Ebola virus is spread through direct contact with the blood or bodily fluids of a person who is sick with #Ebola. pic.twitter.com/YcPFYjXO2a
— CDC Emergency (@CDCemergency) October 16, 2014
Regardless, the main contradiction with the “contact with bodily fluids” claim is this:
@PulpNews if it's transmission is bodily fluids, why close school or scrub plane. Maybe they don't know how it's contracted or spread
— Diane Ivy (@DianeIvy1) October 16, 2014
My new Ebola hearing hero: @USRepLong (MO): if it's only spread thru close contact bodily fluids, why has #Frontier scrubbed plane 4x?
